Principle of operation
A BioBlower is a continuous flow compressive heating system that kills micro-organisms with instantaneous uniform heating, assuring a complete kill. It also eliminates chemical toxins, environmental pollutants and organic particles with catalytic oxidation.
As shown, a compressor (A) heats the air stream to kill the micro-organisms and activate a catalyst (B) to eliminate chemical contaminants and organic particles. The heat energy in the air stream is recovered using a highly effective counter flow heat exchanger (C) to reduce operating costs and to cool the purified air. The process is inherently modular and scalable, handling air flows ranging from 50 to thousands of cubic feet per minute.
